WEEK 9 (FYP 1)

Activity: List of Hardware, Software and Expected Cost of The Project

List of Hardware:
For this project, some component needed to completed the hardware. There are the some of the hardware that we need to do researches;

  • Arduino UNO

  • Temperature sensor (NTC thermistor)
Image result for ntc thermistor of value 100k ohm at 25 degree celsius
  • ioT module

  • LCD display

  • Nebulizer mask

List of Software:
The Software also an important thing to help the project running. So, the software used in this project are:

  • Arduino Uno - call Integrated Development Environment is used to write and upload computer code to the physical board that can be done after running on the computer.
  • IoT - ThingSpeak is designed to exploit the market’s sensor-frenzy driven by the IoT and is perfect for tasks like location tracking.

Expected Cost:

WEEK 8 (FYP 1)

ACTIVITY : Workshop on Methodology (Chapter 3) and Preliminary Result (Chapter 4) Writing and The Flow Chart

In this workshop, we was briefing about Methodology which is between problem statement and the solution. In the methodology we need to know how the data was collected or generated, and how the data or result was obtained. The methodology should included

  • Block diagram
  • Flowchart
  • Schematic diagram
  • Simulation software
  • Plan layout
  • List of component
  • Cost estimation
  • Gant chart
For the Result and Discussion we should at least show up three result. First is result of the simulation of the project. Second is the result of the testing breadboard and the third one is the project performance result. All the result must have their on discussion and relevance.

Designing Flow Chart;

The flowchart is to know how the process to measure the respiratory rate. First, the nebulizer mask which attach with the temperature sensor must be put at the mouth or nasal area. The temperature sensor will detect the temperature changes to read the respiratory rate. If the process is abnormal the buzzer will be ringing and if the process is normal, it will display the result on the LCD and transfer the data via IoT.

The Flow Chart for my FYP is ;

WEEK 7 (FYP 1)

Activity: The Block Diagram

This block diagram explains on how the project function. Form the temperature sensors, it will detect the temperature and Wheatstone bridge function as to convert the resistance to voltage then the Op-amp to amplifier the voltage. From the Op-amp it will transfer to the Arduino for process the data. The result of the data then will be display on the LCD and transfer via IoT. If the device detects abnormal condition the buzzer act as alarm will ringing.
